AIDA 2* level
Basic freediving course for people who feel comfortable in the water and have already tried snorkeling, freediving or scuba diving. During the course, we learn, among other things, breathing and relaxation techniques, including learning about proper diaphragmatic breathing and the ability to take a full breath into our lungs, and exercises that stretch our body appropriately. During theory lectures, we will learn about the elements of physiology, physics, knowledge related to depth, pressure and pressure equalization that are important for breath-hold diving. We will learn about freediving equipment used in the pool and in open water, we will improve the technique of swimming underwater both horizontally in the pool and vertically in open water, we will learn the technique of immersion and starting a dive, orientation, correct body position, turn and how to move underwater as effectively as possible. Both in the pool and in open water, we train rescue, safety procedures, we learn the disciplines in freediving in the pool and in open water, and a number of other topics and skills related to breath-hold diving at the level of this course. Goal of the course is to achieve static apnea of 2 minutes, dynamic apnea of 40 meters and freedive in open water to a depth of 12 m - 20 m.
The AIDA 2* course lasts 3-5 days and includes theoretical and practical classes: 5 sessions in the water (2 pool sessions and 3 open water sessions) and ends with an exam in theory.
The price of the course is 350 EURO/person (includes training materials in electronic form, insurance, pool tickets, fees for the international certificate).
If we have some free time after the course, we practice recreational dives together and get to know the underwater diving attractions and the world of underwater nature at our diving site.
