AIDA 1* level /intro
Introduction to freediving during which we expierence the feeling of being underwater whle holding our breath.
During the course, we learn, among other things, basic breathing and relaxation techniques, including activation of the diaphragm and correct diaphragmatic breathing, the basics of freediving theory with elements of physiology for breath-hold diving, the immersion technique, pressure equalization, safety rules, rescue techniques, types of disciplines in freediving and other topics related to breath-hold diving at the level of this course. You will also familiarize yourself with the equipment used by freedivers in the pool and in open water.
There is no need to have experience in freediving to participate in this course. The introductory course is for people who would like to try freediving, but for example are not yet sure whether to decide on the full basic AIDA 2* course. The AIDA 1*/intro course includes elements of the basic AIDA 2* freediving course and also allows you to get an idea of what such a full freediving course looks like.
The AIDA 1*/intro course lasts 1 day (if necessary 2 days) and includes theoretical and practical classes in the pool/open water.
The price of the course is 180 EURO/person (includes training materials in electronic form, insurance, pool tickets, fees for the international certificate).
If we have free time after the course, we practice recreational dives together at our diving site in order to see underwater diving attractions
and the world of underwater nature.
AIDA KIDS COURSES
The Bronze Dolphin course is the first course for children in the freediving program. During this course, children learn, among other things, water contact, immersion, breath control in the water, relaxation, relaxation breathing, and the ability to call for help in the water.
The Bronze Dolphin course is for children aged 6 and over and beginners in swimming (i.e., those who do not yet feel confident in the water, have little or no experience in deeper water). If your child already has more experience in the water, I suggest taking a look at the Silver Dolphin or Gold Dolphin course.
Details of participation in the Bronze Dolphin course:
The most important prerequisite is that the child wants to participate in such a course on their own with the intention of learning underwater skills.
In the class room, the child becomes familiar with, among other things, what signals to use in the water to call for help.
In this course for a child, the maximum immersion time in water during underwater swimming or underwater fun does not exceed 15 seconds, and the maximum depth is 2 m.
Course price: 250 Euro.
The price includes: certification, equipment, learning materials, fees for entering the pool for the child and parent/guardian.
Course duration: 3 x approx. 1 - 1.5 hours carried out on 3 agreed days.
Parent's role:
The ability to properly supervise a child in the water is one of the most important aspects of our child's safety.
Therefore, during this course, the parent or guardian of the child is required to pass an exam on the supervising the child during their activities in the water. The parent/guardian learns and demonstrates the principles of safety and supervision, so that in the future after completing the course they can safely supervise their child in the water.
The Silver Dolphin course is the second course for children in the freediving program. During this course, children learn, among other things, immersion, breath control in the water, water partnership, relaxation, relaxation breathing, buoyancy, pressure equalization, recovery breathing, and the ability to call for help in the water.
The Silver Dolphin course is for children aged 6 and older and intermediate swimmers (i.e. those who already have the ability to exhale in the water, hold their breath while immersed, stay on the surface in deeper water with their face immersed in the water and the ability to return to a vertical position on their own, the ability to enter and exit deeper water on their own, the ability to swim with a mask and fins and with their face immersed).
If your child already has more experience in the water, I suggest taking a look at the Gold Dolphin course or, if the child is over 12 years old, the AIDA Junior course.
Details of participation in the Silver Dolphin course:
The most important prerequisite is that the child wants to participate in such a course with the intention of learning underwater skills.
In the class room, the child becomes familiar with additional skills in relation to the Bronze Dolphin course, including buoyancy, immersion with a line, pressure equalization.
Course price: 250 Euro.
The price includes: certification, equipment, teaching materials, fees for entering the pool for the child and parent/guardian.
Course duration: 3 x approx. 1 - 1.5 hours carried out on 3 agreed days.

Classes are held at the swimming pool in Tarnów - Mościce and in open water in the lake (Zalew Radłowski near Tarnów) or in the Adriatic Sea in Croatia, on the island of Drvenik Veli near Trogir.
Parent's role:
The ability to properly supervise a child in the water is one of the most important aspects of our child's safety.
Therefore, during this course, the child's parent or guardian is required to pass an exam on the ability to secure and supervise the child during their water activities. The parent/guardian learns and demonstrates the principles of safety and supervision, so that in the future, after completing the course, they can safely supervise their child in the water.
The AIDA Junior course is the most advanced course for children in the freediving program. During this course, children learn, among other things, immersion, breath control in the water, water partnership, relaxation, relaxation breathing, buoyancy, pressure equalization, recovery breathing and the ability to call for help in the water.
The AIDA Junior course is for children aged 12 and over and advanced in swimming (i.e., able to swim on the surface of the water in a mask with a snorkel and fins without breaks for a distance of 50 m, able to swim slowly on the surface of the water for approx. 3 minutes, having the ability to stay calmly on the surface of the water for approx. 2 minutes).
If your child is already 16 years old and at the same time has a lot of experience in the water, then I suggest you take a look at the information about the AIDA 1 and AIDA 2 courses and if possible, please contact me directly to discuss the details.
Details of participation in the AIDA Junior course:
The most important prerequisite is that the child wants to participate in such a course with the intention of learning underwater skills.
The child becomes familiar with skills such as buoyancy, diving with a rope and fins, and pressure equalization.
The maximum immersion time of the child during underwater swimming or underwater games in this course depends on the child's age, but the maximum depth is limited to 15 m, and the distance and time of underwater swimming in the pool/sea to 40 m and 40 seconds.
Course price: 300 Euro.
The price includes: certification, equipment, learning materials, fees for entering the pool for the child and parent/guardian.
Practical course time: 1 x classes in the pool, 3 x approx. 1.5 hours in open waters carried out on agreed days.
Classes are held at the swimming pool in Tarnów-Mościce and in open water in a lake (Zalew Radłowski near Tarnów) or in the Adriatic Sea in Croatia, on the island of Drvenik Veli near Trogir.
The role of the parent:
The ability to properly supervise a child in the water is one of the most important aspects of our child's safety. The child is taught never to dive without an adult. In general, I always encourage parents/guardians to take a first aid course, learn rescue skills and have prior knowledge of the possibilities of providing assistance in places where we plan to dive with the child.
It is assumed that a parent/guardian who also has the skills of freediving can supervise their child in the water deeper than 2 meters, however, if the parent/guardian does not have freediving skills, the child should not be alone in water deeper than 2 meters, unless they have another adult qualified freediver next to them for safety.
During this course, the child's parent or guardian is required to pass an exam on the skills of supervising the child during water activities, which is also a requirement for the child's certification as AIDA Junior.
